PROGRAMS

Workplace English

Do you need to develop your English speaking and writing skills for your job? We offer a variety of options to meet those needs; our main fields of focus are Construction, Healthcare, Business management, and Hospitality; but we can develop a course specifically for your needs.

  • Length: Courses generally run 8-weeks; or two-terms. We could also make a schedule to meet your needs on a one-to-one basis.
  • Level Required: Student levels can vary to your needs. In general, CLB 4 is required for most programs.
  • Certificate: We will provide you a certificate of course completion; with an 8-week course. 

English as a Second Language

  • General English; Canadian Language Benchmarks 1-7; Improve your English for the workplace and communication.
  • Academic English; Improve your English for higher education. (IELTS; CELPIP)
  • Speaking and Pronunciation; Develop your fluency and clarity.

Job Skills Training

Do you need to get some specific job skills certificates for your job? We offer a variety of courses to meet those needs; our main fields of focus are Construction safety, Hospitality, and Trades; but we can develop a course specifically for your needs.  

  • Construction: Safety Training System; WHMIS; First-Aid; Flagging Safety
  • Hospitality: Advanced Food Safety; ProServe
  • Home-Based: Insurance Business licenses; Real Estate 
  • Red Seal Exam Preparation: Varies according to demand


GED & UPGRADING

Improve your core subjects for further education: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies – GED exam preparation – Tutoring and Coaching

Volunteer Community Programs

Would you like to obtain valuable experience in your field, or want to add experience to your resume? Then enrolling in some of our volunteer programs could be what you're looking for. We have several opportunities in Healthcare, Business Administration, Hospitality, Social-work, and Education. We could also find a volunteer placement especially to fit your interests.  

  • Experience: Two to four hours per week
  • Practicum: 40, 80, or 120 hours over a 3-month period. 
  • Certificate of Completion: Provided after a 120-hour term of service.
